What does the agent do with my email?
The agent has Gmail modify permission, but it only does three things: reads your emails, archives what you want to keep, and trashes what you want gone. Nothing else. No reading for data. No storing your emails. No funny business.
How long does my Gmail stay connected?
Access closes the moment your cleanup finishes. If something stops it, access is closed after 7 days at the latest. You can also remove it yourself any time: go to myaccount.google.com, then Security, then Third-party apps, then SmartInboxCleanup, then Remove access. What happens after I authorize?
Once authorized, the cleanup begins automatically. Depending on your inbox size, this could take a few minutes. If you don't see changes after a few minutes, hard refresh your Gmail (Ctrl + Shift + R) and give it a little more time. The AI is still working.
How long does it take?
Depends entirely on your inbox size. In testing, a normal-sized inbox (around 100 emails) finished in under 4 minutes. A genuinely massive inbox (18,000+ emails) took considerably longer, since processing time isn't fully predictable. It depends on real-time conditions with Gmail and the AI itself, not just email count. Most inboxes fall much closer to the fast end. Whatever your size, the AI works through every email carefully, so give it time.
